1. Who are we?
Assetto Share is a community website dedicated to the car simulation game developed by Kunos, called Assetto Corsa.
On this site, you’ll mainly find tutorials on how to install the mods most commonly used by players to enhance their gaming experience on Assetto Corsa, such as Pure, the Custom Shaders Patch, Reshade and others.
Here you cannot download paid mods for free; it is simply a platform for sharing well-known, existing mods with the aim of helping players in the Assetto Corsa community.
The site is also the official distributor of Ignis Umbra, a completely free graphics pack created by Ignis Graphics.
2. What data do we collect?
When you use the Website, we collect the following data:
- Account details: username, email address, password (stored in encrypted form), at the time an account is created.
- Newsletter consent: your choice (whether or not you have agreed) to receive promotional communications by email, as well as the date of that choice.
- Browsing data: cookies are set to enable the display of targeted adverts via Google AdSense.
We do not collect any data other than that listed above.

Creating an account is never conditional on your agreeing to receive the newsletter: you can create an account even if you opt out of promotional emails.

Your data may be passed on to the following service providers, strictly to the extent necessary for the operation of the Website:
- Hostinger : website hosting.
- Google (AdSense): display of adverts on the Website. Google may need to process data outside the European Union; such transfers are governed by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or an equivalent mechanism recognised by the GDPR. We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.
5. Cookies
The website uses cookies set by Google AdSense for the purpose of personalising adverts. These cookies are only set once we have obtained your consent via the banner provided for this purpose. 6. How long we keep your data
- Account data: retained for as long as your account remains active, then deleted within a reasonable period after the account is deleted.
- Newsletter consent: retained until you unsubscribe, which takes effect immediately after you click on the unsubscribe link included in every email.
